Day 3

We had a FABULOUS day today at the Boryeong Mud Festival today. The kids had so much fun, and we had a great time watching them. As a parent and a teacher, it was one of those rare moments in time when kids this age are just acting like a bunch of crazy kids. I don't think the pictures need much explanation...just enjoy!

Photobucket is not working tonight, so I uploaded a group of photos to a walmart.com account for you to look at.

Tomorrow, Sunday, is our host-family day. I can't wait to hear about the kids' experiences!

I'll try and get the blog properly fixed tomorrow.

Carol! This was a fabulous idea! I can't wait to tell Cassia & Tofer about it! It sounds like you all are having a wonderful time, and we have SOOOO missed being a part of this summer.

I can't believe you got to go to the MUD FESTIVAL! What fun!
I'll keep following you all!

Hooray!

Tell me the names of the kids that went with you this year.
I think I'm spying Michael McDonald, but I'm not sure. It sounds like all it going well. I'm so wishing I was there too. :(

Yes! It is Michael McDonald you spy. We also have Joey Massa and Emily Cooper from Warden, Lacey Goeden from Ephrata, and Mariel Rodriguez, Tyah Young, Riley Hourigan, and Tricia Cunningham from Moses Lake. Joss, Brittany, and Brendan came back-they did a great job of earning their own money to come back!!. They are volunteering at an elementary school not far from our hotel. I hope this shows up on the blog-all of the information has turned into Korean writing!!

What an excellent combination of our cities! I remember Lacey wanting to come last year, but we had already made our choices, so I am so glad she came back to try again! I'm so glad Michael is there! What an adventure for him! Are Brit, Joss, and Brendan with host families?

Brit, Joss, and Brendan are with new host families. Their students will come to GC, so we will have 11 Gunpo students visiting us. We have an excellent mix of students-I'm really enjoying them!!
I got to see Wendy tonight, as well as Han and Ho. It was fun to catch up with them.
